1. Who We Are

This site is operated by CMYH — Coach Mohamed Youssef Hafez (“CMYH”, “we”, “us”), an online fitness and nutrition coaching service based in Egypt and serving clients in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar. We are the party responsible for your personal data (the “data controller”).

2. Data We Collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and deliver coaching:

  • Contact form — your name, email (optional), WhatsApp number, your goal, the program you’re interested in, and any message you write.
  • Checkout / order form — your name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), the program you chose, your payment method, and the payment-proof screenshot or file you upload. This is processed through Netlify Forms and emailed to the coach.
  • Automatically, via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — only if you accept cookies: an identifier stored in cookies, the pages you view, and events such as PageView, AddToCart and Lead. This is shared with Meta Platforms (see section 4).
  • Automatically, via our host (Netlify) — standard server logs including your IP address, browser type and the time of your request, used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data (such as detailed medical records). Please don't send sensitive health information through the website — share only what's needed, and discuss health details directly with the coach.

3. Why We Use Your Data

  • To answer your enquiries and reply on WhatsApp or email.
  • To deliver coaching — build and adjust your training and nutrition plans.
  • To process and confirm your orders and payments.
  • To measure and improve our advertising through Meta — only with your consent.
  • To keep the website secure and working.

Our legal bases are: your consent (for the Meta Pixel and marketing cookies), performance of a contract (to deliver coaching you ordered), and our legitimate interests (to reply to you and secure the site).

4. Cookies & the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand which ads bring people to us and to optimize them. The Pixel sets cookies in your browser and shares data with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. about your visit and actions (such as viewing a page, adding a plan to the cart, or sending an enquiry).

Consent first

The Pixel does not load or fire until you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you choose “Decline”, no Pixel and no marketing cookies are loaded. Strictly necessary local storage (your cart and language choice) still works either way, because the site can’t function without it.

To change your mind: clear this site’s data in your browser (which removes the stored consent choice) and reload the page — the banner will appear again so you can decline. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and adjust your Facebook ad preferences inside your Meta account.

5. Who We Share Data With

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site and coaching work:

  • Meta Platforms (Pixel & advertising) — Privacy Policy.
  • Netlify (website hosting & form processing, including your uploaded payment proof) — Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp / Meta (messaging when you contact the coach) — Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6. International Transfers

CMYH operates from Egypt, but some of our providers (Meta and Netlify) process and store data on servers outside Egypt, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves your country, those providers rely on their own safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect it. By using the site and accepting cookies, you understand that your data may be processed in these locations.

7. How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry and order data (including payment-proof files) only as long as needed to provide coaching, keep records of our transactions, and meet legal or accounting requirements — then we delete or anonymize it. Pixel/cookie data is retained according to Meta's own retention periods. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 9).

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions and uploads are transmitted securely to Netlify. We restrict access to your data to the coach. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your data.
  • Withdraw your consent to cookies/the Pixel at any time.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

10. Children

Our coaching and this website are intended for adults aged 18 and over. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your Legal Rights — Egypt & EU/EEA

For visitors in Egypt, we handle personal data in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020, “PDPL”).

If you are in the European Union / EEA, you also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights listed in section 9 and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
